Individuals with HIV or AIDS

Individuals with HIV or AIDS can face unique legal issues relating to or complicated by their diagnosis.  We empower patients, ensure their access to medical treatment, and combat discrimination through a broad range of legal services, including: lifetime planning; family law; access to healthcare; income maintenance; employment law; fighting discrimination; and housing preservation.  Legal services for people with HIV or AIDS are offered in 14 counties (Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, St. Lawrence, Tioga, and Tompkins).
